About The Show
In 2023, we hosted our very first Horsepower for Heroes Benefit Car & Bike Show which resulted in an overwhelming response from our community. The purpose behind the show is three prong; To bring the community together to show support for our local fire and EMS personnel, to help raise money for the Waldo County Firefighters Association, and to help in our local fire departments recruitment efforts.
This has become an annual event to celebrate the folks that do so much to keep our community safe. Car enthusiasts and spectators alike can enjoy live music, food from local vendors, games, and prizes, not to mention having the opportunity to learn about fire equipment and what it takes to be a firefighter.
